Giants open as 6.5-point home underdogs vs. Packers

The New York Giants have opened as 6.5-point home underdogs against the Green Bay Packers in Week 13.

The New York Giants (2-9) host Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers (8-3) at MetLife Stadium this Sunday. Our friends at BetMGM have made the Packers an early 6.5-point favorite in the game. The over/under opened at 46.5.

The Giants are coming off a 19-14 loss to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field this past Sunday. The Giants, who have lost seven straight games, were six-point underdogs in the contest and covered the spread for just the fourth time this season.

Green Bay was embarrassed by the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football at Levi’s Stadium, 37-8. That loss drew them into a tie for first place in the NFC North with the Minnesota Vikings.

The Packers have covered the spread in seven of their first 11 games this season and six of their contests have gone under.

The Giants have had six of their games go over, mainly due to the amount of points they’ve given up this season.
