The New York Giants (4-11) have opened Week 17 as 5.5-point underdogs for this Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears (5-10) at Soldier Field, per Tipico Sportsbook.

The over/under is set at 38.5 points.

The Giants have lost four straight and five the past six games. They are 1-7 on the road and are 6-9 against the spread this season but 1-5 ATS over their last six.

Before Chicago eked out 25-24 victory in the snow against Seattle this week, they had lost eight of their previous nine games. The Bears are 5-10 against the spread this season.

This game has major significance in the 2022 NFL draft order as the Giants currently hold the fifth overall selection while the Bears hold the eighth pick. As we know, the Giants have Chicago’s pick thanks to a draft day trade back in April.
