We know Trevor Bauer is totally fine with batters celebrating when they get big hits and dingers. We also know that the Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher likes to stir things up from time to time.
In this case, it seems like he’s joking around, but it’s hard to tell sometimes.
Let’s break it down: the Dodgers played their rival the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, and during the Giants’ win, Mauricio Dubon hit a homer off Clayton Kershaw. When he touched home plate, Dubon sheathed an imaginary sword, which is a celebration Bauer is known for. Dubon didn’t deny it in a post-game interview:

"Those guys are having fun and I want to have fun too."

Bauer tweeted this after:
People out here covering an eye after hitting with two eyes open and swording the wrong pitcher y’all fools

Just a light hearted joke. Like “haha y’all fools”. Not tweeting bad about anyone. Relax

Dubon doing the “sword” with Bauer watching and not actually pitching is still so good. We’ll see if we get more back-and-forth taunting when these two teams meet again at the end of June.
