The New York Giants are hoping for a turnaround this season and have drawn the NFL’s seventh-easiest schedule as per the strength of schedule model. Their 2020 opponents had a collective winning percentage of .438 last season.

That somehow means nothing when your first five games of that schedule read as follows: vs. Pittsburgh, at Chicago, vs. San Francisco, at L.A. Rams and at Dallas.
With the NFL realizing their full schedule with dates, times and locations, the opening betting lines and point spreads for the season have been set.
The Giants will open at home on Monday night against the Steelers and are already 3.5-point underdogs, per BetMGM. The money line on the game is currently Steelers -176, Giants +145 and the over/under is 48.5 points.
Oddsmakers have the Giants winning anywhere from four to six games and when looking at the schedule you have to wonder where those wins are going to come from. Almost every team in the league got better this offseason either through the draft, free agency or a coaching change. Some got better in all three ways.
The Giants could be one of those teams but who can tell since we have no idea when the players and coaches will be allowed in their respective facilities.
