Michael Strahan had an incredibly successful career as a member of the New York Giants, culminating in a Super Bowl championship and a bust in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
But Strahan’s success didn’t fade when he left the game. Rather, that success has carried over into his media career, where he’s basically a Swiss Army knife and does a little bit of everything from Live! to Good Morning America to the FOX NFL Pregame Show and much, much more.
And you can now add “producer” to Strahan’s post-football resume.
Strahan is bringing the real story of a Baltimore-area football team to life with an HBO docuseries called The Cost of Winning.
I am so proud of our team at @SMAC and our partners who worked tirelessly to make this docu-series come to life.

“We are excited to bring the inspiring story of Baltimore’s St. Frances Academy to life on HBO, and to showcase the adversity and challenges the Panthers endured to save their program,” said Strahan and fellow executive producer Constance Schwartz-Morini in a joint statement. “Thanks to the perseverance and dedication of the team at SMAC Entertainment, including Ethan Lewis, and Mike Ferry with The Story Lab, the series reveals the power of sports as a unifying force.”
The four-part documentary series “follows the against-all-odds story of St. Frances Academy’s football program” and the first two episodes premiere on Tuesday, November 10 at 9 p.m. ET. The final two episodes will come the following night at the same time.
