Giants’ Joe Judge once tossed an Alabama player over a bench

In 2004, incoming New York Giants coach Joe Judge was ejected from a Mississippi State game after throwing an Alabama player over a bench.

Long before he cut his teeth in coaching, incoming New York Giants head coach Joe Judge was a successful High School quarterback turned special teams ace at Mississippi State, where his intense nature took center stage.

During a 2004 game against the Alabama Crimson Tide, Judge got a little carried away when defensive lineman Jeremy Clark took a swing at one of his teammates, leading Judge to toss Clark over the bench.

Judge wasn’t only penalized for the incident, he was ejected from the game and later suspended by the SEC.

A highlight package from the game does not include the incident between Judge and Clark, but it was immortalized in the form of an online forum that captured the live reaction from Alabama fans.

Ironically, Judge later became an assistant under Nick Saban at Alabama, winning two National Championships during his time there.
