Giants’ Joe Judge makes stance on Daniel Jones undeniably clear

New York Giants head coach Joe Judge threw his weight behind struggling QB Daniel Jones, publicly stating the team will stick with him.

Will the New York Giants sit quarterback Daniel Jones in Week 9 against the Washington Football Team?

“No.”

Head coach Joe Judge could not make things more clear on Tuesday, emphatically shutting down any notion the team would bench or otherwise consider replacing Jones following his two-interception night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Judge’s non-response speaks volumes about where he’s at with Jones.

Even as a rookie head coach, Judge does not shy away from media interaction. In fact, while Tom Coughlin, Ben McAdoo and Pat Shurmur all relented, Judge seems to enjoy offering thorough explanations and deeply-rooted answers to reporter questions… So much so that he almost seems prepared.

So the mere fact that the usually talkative Judge would would offer a one-word response makes it clear: Jones is the guy going forward.
