The New York Giants have begun searching for their next defensive coordinator following their split with Wink Martindale.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Giants recently interviewed Ravens secondary coach Dennard Wilson for their defensive coordinator opening.
Wilson has been a coach in the NFL since 2012, spending time with the Los Angeles Rams, New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles before taking over as the Ravens’ defensive backs coach in 2023. He was the Eagles’ passing game coordinator and DBs coach the year prior, and also coached the secondary in Philadelphia in 2021.
Wilson, 41, is from Maryland and was a defensive back for the Terrapins from 200-2003.
