After conducting a walkthrough on Wednesday, the New York Giants were back on the field for their first full practice of the week on Thursday. And wouldn’t you know it, both quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) and linebacker Blake Martinez (back) were participating.
Jones was projected as a limited participant on Wednesday while Martinez did not practice, but each took major steps forwards just 24 hours later.
Daniel Jones (hamstring) and Blake Martinez (back) both practiced. Easily the most we’ve seen Jones do since his injury. Took the first snap with the offense in individual drills, which usually means something. #giants pic.twitter.com/EvZUZWoZhH

Jones took first-team reps during the portion of practice open to the media and was subsequently listed as “limited.” Head coach Joe Judge would not commit to him playing against the Arizona Cardinals.
“To be completely transparently honest with you guys, I don’t have an answer for you right now on that. I really have to see this guy move around on the field, and that’s just what it is,” Judge said of Jones playing in Week 14.
Martinez, like Jones, was also limited.
“Don’t want to talk too much about injuries and things like that. Just working every day to keep getting better and better to keep getting ready for Sunday,” Martinez told reporters.
