Giants have NFL’s 7th easiest strength of schedule in 2020

The New York Giants will have the NFL’s seventh-easiest schedule in 2020 based on the final records of the 2019 season.

There’s a lot of optimism surrounding the New York Giants for the coming 2020 season. They have the No. 4 overall selection in the NFL Draft and they will play the seventh-easiest schedule in the NFL.

Their 2020 opponents had a combined 123-132-1 (.482) record in 2019. By contrast, Baltimore (112-144) has the easiest, while New England (137-118-1) have the most difficult.

The Giants, who finished 4-12, will play a third-place schedule this season, meaning their two at-large games will be against two other third-place NFC finishers: Chicago (8-8) and Tampa Bay (7-9).

Also on the Giants’ schedule in 2020: Washington (3-13 in 2019), Philadelphia (9-7) and Dallas (8-8) twice, the entire NFC West and the AFC North.

The NFC West has Super Bowl participant San Francisco (13-3), Seattle (11-5), the Los Angeles Rams (9-7) and Arizona (5-10-1).

The AFC North contains Baltimore (14-2), Pittsburgh (8-8), Cleveland (6-10) and Cincinnati (2-14).

Fans will be looking forward to witnessing the homecoming of former star wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. (now with Cleveland) and the matchup with the league’s MVP — quarterback Lamar Jackson of Baltimore.
