The New York Giants selected a player tailor-made for their culture in the sixth round of this year’s NFL Draft.
Penn State linebacker Cam Brown grew up in Maryland and played his high school football at the Bullis School in Potomac, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C.
Needless to say, there aren’t likely to be many Dallas Cowboys fans in the heart of Redskins Country. You can count Brown as one of them. He has long been goading Cowboys fans via his social media accounts:
“Cowboys are forever some [expletive],” Brown tweeted on Nov. 28, 2013.
The tweet lines up with early in a game between the Cowboys and Raiders, in which the Raiders led early before losing 31-24.
Brown sent another on October 6, 2013, the day the Cowboys played the Broncos.
“How much yall think the Cowboys boutta lose by? 50? 60?” Brown tweeted.
This revelation from Brown’s past is only going to win favor among Giant fans. Brown ‘s play should be able to do that on its own merit, but the additional hate for the Cowboys makes him more attractive to Giant Nation.
