Giants fall further behind in NFC East after loss to Bucs

The New York Giants fell to 1-7 on the season with a Week 8 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and fell even further behind in the NFC East.

The New York Giants have hung in most games this season and remained in contention for the NFC East title despite their one win, but a 25-23 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night all but ended any remaining hope they had.

It’s been rough sledding for a long time and that appears poised to continue for the remainder of this season, but things are actually looking up in East Rutherford. The Giants do appear to be headed in the right direction.

That won’t quench the thirst of those who are desperate for instant gratification, nor will the current NFC East standings.
