Once again the New York Giants could not get anything going, falling to the Cleveland Browns, 20-6, in prime time on Sunday Night Football.
The Giants came out flat on all fronts, especially offensively, only scoring six points all day. In the NFL, this will almost never be enough to win and was definitely not enough in Week 15 for New York.
Big Blue is now 5-9 and third in the NFC East. With this loss, the Giants have only an outside chance of making the playoffs.
Here’s how Twitter reacted:
4th straight year the #Giants will finish with a losing record.

#Giants will finish with a losing record for the 4th straight year and 7th losing season in their last 8 years.
I truly believe they’ve found their head coach but the GM… has to go. The results have not been good enough and the QB hasn’t improved enough to overlook the record.

The #Giants have been uncompetitive in consecutive must-win games.
It's Year 3 of a regime that had more draft capital (in 3 classes) than ANY NFL team, by far. SEA is their only big-time win in 3 years.
Spare me the "but they're improving!"
