It wasn’t that long ago that the New York Giants had completely bottomed out in the USA TODAY power rankings, taking over the No. 32 spot in embarrassing fashion.
However, that was short-lived. The Giants made a several-spot climb a week ago after defeating the Miami Dolphins in Week 15, and are once again on the rise following a Week 16 victory over the Washington Redskins.
Although still near the bottom of the league, the Giants were bumped up one spot to No. 26 overall.
Saquon Barkley has now touched the ball 601 times in his NFL career and has yet to lose a fumble.
Comparatively, the Redskins remained in place at No. 28 overall, while the Dallas Cowboys fell one spot to No.15 overall and the Philadelphia Eagles rose four spots to No. 12 overall.
In the event you care to know, the New York Jets also rose two spots to No. 21 overall.
The Baltimore Ravens remain in place at No. 1 overall, while the Cincinnati Bengals appear permanently cemented at No. 32 overall.
