The New York Giants defeated the New Orleans Saints, 27-21, in an overtime thriller in Week 4. It was their first victory of the season and arguably their best offensive performance in years.

The win was also enough to climb the ladder in the latest USA TODAY power rankings, which saw Big Blue move up two spots from No. 30 overall to No. 28 overall.

It wasn’t a big improvement, but it was an improvement nonetheless.

28. Giants (30): New York hadn’t won a game in nine months prior to Sunday’s breakthrough. Now it’s off to Dallas in search of a streak.

We can’t help but to notice that Nate Davis didn’t have anything snarky to say about Daniel Jones this week. In fact, he ignored him outright. Weird.

Comparatively, the Philadelphia Eagles dropped one spot to No. 25 overall, while the Washington Football Team rose three spots to No. 20 overall and the Dallas Cowboys rose three spots to No. 5 overall.

The Jacksonville Jaguars now call No. 32 home. The Arizona Cardinals have taken over the No. 1 spot.
