Giants announce 53-man roster

The New York Giants have announced their initial 53-man roster for the 2020 regular season.

The New York Giants took their time on Saturday, but they eventually kicked things into gear and made the necessary cuts to trim their roster down to its initial 53 men.

While several moves will be made over the next 24-48 hours, including safety Xavier McKinney (foot) and linebacker David Mayo (knee) heading to injured reserve, here’s a look at where things sit:

Quarterback – Daniel Jones, Colt McCoy

Running back – Saquon Barkley, Dion Lewis, Wayne Gallman, Elijhaa Penny

Wide receiver – Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard, Golden Tate, Corey Coleman, C.J. Board

Tight end – Evan Engram, Kaden Smith, Levine Toilolo

Offensive line – Andrew Thomas, Kevin Zeitler, Will Hernandez, Nick Gates, Cam Fleming, Matt Peart, Shane Lemieux, Chad Slade, Spencer Pulley
