The New York Giants have made some wholesale changes this past offseason, changing the majority of their coaching staff — including a new head coach in Joe Judge — and adding several mid-level free agent in areas of need.
That hasn’t been enough to convince oddsmakers to predict this is the year they rejoin the haves of the NFL. BetMGM has set the Giants’ over/under win total for 2020 at six:
How many wins with the New York Giants record in the regular season?
Over 6 wins: -155
Under 6 wins: -106
That makes sense since the Giants have won more than six games in a season just twice since the 2013 season when they went 7-9. In 2016, they won 11 games but have only won 12 games over the three years since then.
The oddsmakers believe the Giants will once again be relegated to third place in the NFC East. Dallas and Philadelphia are both at 9.5 wins and Washington’s number is five wins.
