National Signing Day has come and gone, and Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class is officially set. There were 25 total members (26, if you count North Carolina grad transfer tight end Carl Tucker) with talent across the board.

In order for fans to get to know the Crimson Tide’s newest players, we have laid out a “get to know them” article for each member.

The next player up is four-star offensive tackle Javion Cohen out of Central High School in Phenix City (Ala.).

Where does he fit in? Cohen was one of the latest additions to Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class. After being committed to Auburn since June, the four-star offensive tackle decided to make a switch to the Tide.

That decision was met with some controversy, as the Tigers claimed they pulled Cohen’s offer before he de-committed. Either way, Gus Malzahn’s loss is Nick Saban’s gain.

Cohen is more of a project as an offensive lineman, but the raw athleticism and physical makeup are definitely there. Don’t expect to see the Phenix City (Ala.) tackle in action early in his career, but there’s a chance of him earning a starting role down the line — with the right development.
