Georgia defensive back Latavious Brini announced on Twitter that he is entering the NCAA transfer portal and will finish his collegiate career elsewhere.
Brini becomes the fifth Georgia player to enter the portal and the third defensive back to do since UGA was crowned national champions on Monday night.
Brini joins defensive backs Ameer Speed and Jalen Kimber, plus wide receivers Jaylen Johnson and Justin Robinson in the portal.
Brini made his announcement on Twitter. The Hialeah, Florida native will have one year of eligibility remaining at whichever school he chooses.
A former three-star recruit, Brini joined UGA in the class of 2017.

Brini actually started a majority of the season for Georgia in 2021 at the star position. 11 games to be exact. He was replaced by William Poole after the coaching staff made some changes late in the year, but Brini still finished with 38 tackles and eight pass breakups (tied for second on the team).
