Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter returns in 2022 as one of the top players in all of college football. The junior is rated as high as No. 3 on NFL draft boards and will help lead a UGA defense that lost eight starters to the draft, including two defensive lineman.
Carter, a Apopka, Fla., native, finished 2nd on the team in tackles for loss (8.5) and quarterback pressures (33), and blocked two field goals, including one in the national title game.
Carter’s explosion and hand talent have made him one of the top pass rushing tackles in college football.
Pro Football Focus (PFF) has Carter 1st among all defensive tackles in win rate (18.9%).
