Georgia at Kentucky: Three things to know

  1. Georgia has now won 10-straight games against Kentucky and they have covered the spread in six of their last seven meetings against the Wildcats.
  2. WR Kearis Jackson currently leads Georgia in receiving yards with 323. His biggest game of the season came against Auburn when he caught nine passes for 147 yards. Look for him to be involved early and often in this game.
  3. Despite a loss to Missouri last week, Kentucky has still won six of their last nine games. They’ve been a much better team over the past few years, but they still aren’t quite on the same level as Alabama, Georgia, LSU and Florida in the SEC.

Georgia at Kentucky: Odds, prediction, betting lines and picks

Prediction

Georgia 34, Kentucky 13

Money line (ML)

Georgia (-910) is a huge money line favorite over Kentucky (+600) in this game and it’s not hard to see why. The Bulldogs have won 15 of their last 18 games and their only losses have come against elite SEC teams such as Alabama and LSU. Expect this game to be close for a while, but for Georgia to pull away late. However, PASS on this money line as there isn’t enough value on either side.

Against the spread (ATS)

GEORGIA -17.5 (-115) is a three-score favorite over Kentucky on Saturday afternoon as the Bulldogs look to get their first win since being defeated by Alabama a few weeks ago. Georgia’s offense is playing at an all-time high, averaging 33 points per game. Look for them to come close to that number on Saturday afternoon as they should win this game by 20 or more points.

Over/Under (O/U)

The total for this SEC matchup is set at 42.5 points, which feels a bit low considering how explosive Georgia’s offense has been this season. They’ve already scored 44 points once this season (against Tennesee) and have scored at least 24 points in every game this season. Look for the OVER to hit here and the Bulldogs to score into the mid-30s.
