Georgia Southwestern received 15 first-place votes in the final Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll of the 2019-20 season and overtook the top spot in the poll.
The Hurricanes had quite the year, tallying a total of six victories over the course of the season with their most recent win coming at the Southeastern Collegiate back in March.
Barry ranks second after earning five first-place votes, followed by third-ranked Lynn who received two first-place votes of their own. Columbus State ranks third followed by USC-Aiken to round out the top-five.
Arkansas Tech, Lincoln Memorial, West Florida, Lee, and St. Mary’s (Texas) all earned a spot in the top 10.
Rollins (No. 23) and St. Edwards (No. 24) both rejoined the ranking, while Limestone and Sonoma State fell from the poll.
