Georgia football star makes national PFF team of the Week 2

A Georgia Bulldog player named to national team of the week distinction by PFF.

Pro Football Focus just released their college football conference and national teams of Week 2. Georgia Bulldog center Drew Bobo earned a spot on the national team thanks to his dominance overall in protection. Bobo didn’t allow any pressures the entire game and delivered some impressive run blocking. Bobo did have a holding penalty on a play where he was pulling to the left, but he had a near perfect day and absolutely earned his distinction

Tate Ratledge was the right guard pick for the SEC team of the week. Ratledge was named as one of the top 50 college players entering the season, and he shined on the right side of the line with Drew Bobo, also allowing zero pressures and showing effectiveness as a pulling guard on running plays.

Georgia had a dominant 48-3 win over Tennessee Tech with impressive performances in almost every aspect. Next week, they’ll be looking to keep their momentum up against the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, Sept. 14
