Redshirt sophomore Georgia cornerback Divaad Wilson has announced that he will be entering the NCAA transfer portal on Monday. Wilson explained via Twitter that his decision was made solely to be closer to home during these uncertain times due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Wilson appeared in eleven games for the Dawgs last season, totaling 24 tackles, one interception and one pass deflection.
His decision should be seen as a respectable one to Georgia fans, as family always comes first. Wilson is from Miami, Florida and will likely browse schools in that area.
We wish Divaad all the best on the next chapter of his football career and thank him for everything he gave to the Bulldog community. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.
