Gators announce 2023 summer camp and coaching clinic dates

Florida’s annual coaching clinic and summer camp dates have been announced, giving high school coaches and players the ability to learn from those at the collegiate and professional levels.

Florida Gators head coach Billy Napier announced the dates for this year’s Gators Chalk, the annual football coaches clinic and summer camp for prospective student-athletes.

The coaching clinic is open to middle and high school coaches and will feature guest speakers from the professional and collegiate coaching levels. Last year’s keynote speaker was then-Carolina Panthers head coach and current Nebraska Cornhuskers head coach, Matt Rhule.

The clinic will kick off on March 23 and run until March 25. In addition to the guest speakers, the clinic will include a series of dinners, sitting in on practice at the Indoor Practice Facility, and more. Speakers for the clinic have yet to be announced. The cost of attendance is $30, and you can register for the clinic by clicking here.

The dates for Florida’s annual summer camps were also announced, with the Orange and Blue putting on ten different camps for high schoolers throughout the month of June. Last year, the Gators held five one-day camps, one 7-on-7 tournament, one camp for offensive and defensive linemen, and one camp for specialists.

In order to get the most out of their dates, the Gators staff has made adjustments to this season’s summer camp schedule. Camps will begin on June 5 with the first of three one-day camps. The other two will be held on June 12 and 19. June 7 will be the first of three 7-on-7 tournaments and the first of three offensive and defensive line camps. The second and third days of both camps will be held on June 14 and 21. The specialists camp will be held on June 9.
