For the second time in as many games, the Brooklyn Nets will be without Garrett Temple. The team has ruled the veteran wing out due to a right knee contusion.
Temple has been dealing with a right knee contusion since the Nets visited the Dallas Mavericks back on January 2. He almost missed Brooklyn’s games against the Miami Heat on Saturday as a result of the injury, plus Tuesday’s game against the Utah Jazz.
Nic Claxton also remains unavailable for the Nets. He is on assignment with Brooklyn’s G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets.
However, it appears Wilson Chandler will be available for Brooklyn again. He did not play on Tuesday due to left hamstring soreness. The forward was not included on the team’s injury report.
The Philadelphia 76ers — Brooklyn’s opponent on Wednesday — is without superstar big man Joel Embiid. He underwent surgery to repair a torn radial collateral ligament of the fourth metacarpal on his left hand.
