Game Preview: Gators face big road test in No. 13 Alabama

The Florida Gators are ranked once again, but they will be immediately tested by one of the top-15 team’s in the nation — the Alabama Crimson Tide

To be the man, you’ve got to beat the man.

On Wednesday, the Florida Gators travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to face the Crimson Tide in a top-25 showdown that has major SEC implications. Alabama sits at the top of the conference with a 10-2 record against the SEC and an 18-7 overall record.

Meanwhile, Florida has won seven of its last eight games and found its way back into the AP Top 25. It’s undeniable that Todd Golden has turned this program around, but Florida has a ways to go before claiming elite status. Beating Alabama would spark the conversation, though, especially after an overtime win against Kentucky and a dominant win over Auburn.

They say it’s best to get hot toward the end of the season, and that’s exactly what the Gators are doing. Here’s everything you need to know about Wednesday night’s game.
