Game 1 of Sixers vs. Raptors start time and date has been announced

The start date and time for Game 1 of the Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors series has been set.

The chips have fallen and things have been decided for the Eastern Conference in the 2022 NBA Playoffs. The Philadelphia 76ers will be the No. 4 seed and they will take on the Toronto Raptors in Round 1 of the playoffs.

The Sixers dropped three of the four matchups with the Raptors on the season and this promises to be a tough opponent for Philadelphia especially considering the fact that Matisse Thybulle will be unavailable for road games due to not being vaccinated.

“It’s too early to talk about it, honestly,” said coach Doc Rivers when asked about matching up with Toronto. “Offensive rebounds would be the first thing that jumps in my mind.”

As the series gets set to begin, the full schedule has not been released yet, but the start time and date for Game 1 will be on April 16 at 6 p.m. EDT.

The Sixers will now have about a week of practice now before preparing for a tough matchup with their division rivals.
