Isiah Pacheco has certainly created some buzz this season, the Kansas City Chiefs rookie (by way of the Rutgers football program), has earned fans the league over for his hard running style.
A seventh-round pick in this spring’s NFL draft, Pacheco is a former All-Big Ten selection at Rutgers. So far this season in the NFL, Pacheco is making a nice impact for the Chiefs and has proven to be a wonderful advert for Rutgers in the process.
Through the season’s first seven games, Pacheco has 192 rushing yards and a touchdown on 39 carries. On the season, he is averaging 2.5 yards after first contact.
Pacheco got his first NFL start two weeks ago in the Chiefs’ impressive win at the San Francisco 49ers.
In that game, Pacheco had eight carries for 43 yards and five kickoff returns for 146 yards. The Chiefs host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon.
