Michigan State basketball has swept their in-state rivals Michigan.
The Spartans used a stifling defensive performance in the second half to knock off the Wolverines, 73-63, from the Crisler Center. Michigan State ended the game holding Michigan scoreless for the final seven minutes to pick up the victory.
Michigan State was led offensively by Tyson Walker and Malik Hall in the win. Walker finished with 19 points, while Hall had 18 points.
