G League’s OKC Blue waive Kong Kong

G League’s OKC Blue announced they have waived guard Kong Kong after appearing in three games.

The G League’s OKC Blue announced on Sunday that they had waived guard Kong Kong.

The Blue added Kong on Nov. 23 after playing with a short-handed roster for several games. In three games, he averaged 3.3 points on 28.6% shooting, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23.1 minutes.

The Blue initially acquired Kong from the G League player pool following their draft in October. He was a training camp roster addition before being one of the final cuts.

After starting his college career at the junior college level, Kong spent two college seasons at Emporia State and Kentucky State. In three career games, he averaged 5.3 points and two rebounds. He went undrafted in 2023.
