Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has been all over social media in recent weeks because of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Beasley has debated teammates about it and also said he would consider retirement if forced to take it. Beasley has said he has not been vaccinated.
With Day 1 of Bills training camp underway on Wednesday, it was a big topic of discussion because of all the hoopla. Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane, head coach Sean McDermott and quarterback Josh Allena all talked about it in their press conferences which took place before Beasley’s.
Eventually, Beasley did speak for himself.
In doing so, he prepared a statement to discuss his feelings toward the topic. The wideout said he is not for or against vaccination, rather, he’s “pro choice.”
