The 2023 free agency period is set to get underway this week.
On Monday, the “tampering window” begins. Essentially, that’s the start of free agency. At noon, reports will start trickling in on where players have “agreed to terms.” In most cases, that means deals are done and dusted, they just aren’t officially signed until Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Regarding the Buffalo Bills, the 2023 free agency period will be more focused on who the team can re-sign among their own pending free agents.
Buffalo will add new players, but it’s anticipated that the “bigger names” connected to the team this offseason will likely have to do with who stays and who goes, as opposed to who arrives.
Then again, you never know.
