The Philadelphia 76ers continue the road trip on Monday when they visit the Pacific Northwest and the Portland Trail Blazers. The Sixers are 0-2 to begin the trip as they have battled injuries. Monday will bring more of the same.
Joel Embiid (left knee soreness) was originally listed as questionable, but he has been downgraded to out. The Sixers will miss his scoring against a scrappy Blazers team on the road.
Tyrese Maxey (left ankle sprain) and Tobias Harris (illness) are both listed as questionable for the contest against the Trail Blazers. Harris has missed both games to begin the road trip while Embiid and Maxey missed Saturday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets.
De’Anthony Melton (lumbar spine stress response) and Robert Covington (left knee bone bruise) remain out against the Blazers.
Sixers center Joel Embiid (left knee) will miss tonight’s game vs. the Portland Trail Blazers, according to league sources.

If Maxey can’t go, then the Sixers will lean once more on Patrick Beverley. He was fantastic against the Nuggets as he poured in 17 points and 11 assists. Without Embiid, the Sixers will need a repeat performance from Reed who scored a career-high 30 points on Saturday.
Tip off from the Moda Center is set for 10 p.m. EST on Monday.
