The Buffalo Bills sure were not kidding about the playing time quarterback Josh Allen would have in Week 18.

Earlier this week, head coach Sean McDermott mentioned a specific plan for Allen in his team’s season finale.

The Bills (13-3) had the No. 2 seed in the AFC postseason locked up heading into the contest. With nothing to play for, Allen was still set to play.

Allen had made 114 consecutive starts before Sunday. That’s the longest active streak in the NFL and the 13th longest streak for a QB in history.

McDermott admitted the plan was to keep the streak alive for Allen, meaning all he had to do is take the first snap of the game for the Bills. Per McDermott, Allen would play a “very, very short amount of time” against the Pats.

That is exactly what Allen ended up doing.

Nothing was being risked as Allen lined up for the first play, handed it off, and left the game in favor of backup Mitchell Trubisky.

Allen made it to 115.

And with that, here are Allen’s full highlights against the Patriots in Week 18:
