After making two big splashes in free agency on the defensive side of the ball, the Tennessee Titans struck a more lowkey, yet important deal with former Cleveland Browns offensive tackle, Kendall Lamm.
Lamm, who will serve as O-line depth and likely assume the role of swing tackle Ty Sambrailo from last year, is receiving a two-year deal worth $6.8 million, with $3 million guaranteed (worth up to $8.5 million).
Here’s a look at the yearly breakdown, per Spotrac:

Lamm will carry a cap hit of $2.61 million in the first year, followed by a $4.15 million cap hit in the second, although Tennessee could get out of the deal in 2022 and only absorb a dead money hit of $850,000.
The 28-year-old tackle receives a $1.7 million signing bonus, which is spread out over two years, and when combined with his guaranteed $1.3 million base salary in 2021, that makes up his guaranteed money.
In all, Lamm will make almost double what Sambrailo ($1.35 million) did last season, but with left tackle Taylor Lewan coming off a torn ACL and after the injuries upfront in 2020, it’s understandable why Tennessee is sparing the expense.
Now that we know the full contract details for the deals with Lamm and defensive lineman Denico Autry (check that out here), we know the Titans will have spent a total of $6.14 million of their roughly $16.4 million in cap space on two of their free-agent signings. As of this writing, the contract details for outside linebacker Bud Dupree have not been revealed.
