Free agent Jadeveon Clowney still has Seahawks on his radar

Free agent Jadeveon Clowney still has the Seattle Seahawks on his radar but is willing to patiently wait this offseason for the right offer.

Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has yet to make a decision on which team he plans to sign with ahead of the 2020 NFL season but he is keeping the Seattle Seahawks on his radar.

“I hope we can work something out if anything happens,” Clowney said in an interview with FOX 26 Houston. “I did like it up there. I love Russ (Wilson). I love all the guys I played with. J. Reed, B. Jack (Jackson), all them boys in my room. I respect them guys . . . I love Seattle, I love everyone on the coaching staff.”

Clowney has been patient throughout free agency, testing the waters and apparently willing to wait for the right offer to come to fruition. Clowney now has a message for teams who could be in pursuit.

Clowney told Fox 26 he has completely healed from his sports hernia surgery and has been working out four days a week.

“I want to let people know I’m ready,” Clowney stated. “And whoever I sign with is gonna get the best version of me.”

Here’s a look at the series of tweets from FOX 26 highlighting the Clowney interview.
