Texas continues to stay busy on the recruiting trail.
Four-star wide receiver Jalen Hale included the Longhorns in his top three schools on Thursday evening. Georgia and Alabama also made the cut for the Longview native.
Hale is rated the No. 11 wide receiver in the country and the No. 11 overall prospect in the state of Texas for the 2023 recruiting class, according to 247Sports composite rankings.
As a junior in 2021, Hale hauled in 50 receptions for 1,154 yards and 14 touchdowns. He’s a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and track and field for Longview.

Texas is sitting pretty at the wide receiver position for the 2023 class, as they’ve already secured commitments from five-star Johntay Cook and four-stars Ryan Niblett and Jonah Wilson. Hale would be the cherry on top of a fantastic haul this cycle.
On3’s recruiting prediction machine currently lists the Longhorns as the favorite in his recruitment.
