Four-star Texas native Weston Davis offered by USC

USC obviously doesn’t want to give up on this recruitment.

Weston Davis, a four-star offensive tackle out of Texas, announced his top six list in March. Davis put out an early top schools list that included Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and TCU. That hasn’t stopped USC from pursuing him on the trail, however. The Trojans offered him and have obviously declared their intent here: They won’t give up on this particular prospect, hoping for a change of mind in the course of time.

Davis is considered to be the No. 114 player in the nation according to On3 Sports. He’s also considerd to be the No. 7 offensive tackle and the No. 21 player out of the talent-rich state of Texas.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound Davis is rated a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite, the No. 171 overall recruit and the No. 12 offensive tackle. He is a three-star recruit in the 247Sports rankings, the No. 21 offensive tackle. Davis played right tackle for his junior and sophomore seasons.
