Four-star prospect Nigel Walls offered by USC basketball

The Trojans are interested in a four-star power forward from Houston.

The USC basketball coaching staff is hard at work. Assistant head coach Eric Mobley and head coach Andy Enfield have offered four-star power forward Nigel Walls.

Walls plays at St. Francis Episcopal School in Houston. He is listed as a 6-foot-10, 210-pound hybrid forward. There is plenty of hype around the young man who is a natural stretch four and rim protector.

Walls averaged 9.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and one steal during the regular season in 2022-2023. He hopes to have another elite season in 2023-2024.

“I’m looking for a welcoming environment,” Nigel Walls said. “I want to go to play for a coach who knows what my strengths are. And one who can develop me where I need to work. I want to go to a winning program and play for a coach who knows how to play. Also, my family being able to get to the games will be big for me. Really, just a welcoming environment. Walls told On3.

The top schools currently on Walls’ list are Arkansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and Marquette.

“I’d like to play in a fast-paced structure, where we can get out and run and press. I feel like that is where I’m at my best, getting the rebound and just going.”
