Kyle Flood did an excellent job landing elite talent along the offensive line for Texas’ 2022 recruiting class.
Due to the offensive line being a significant weakness in 2021, Texas was forced to hit the recruiting trail hard. They brought in arguably the top offensive line haul in the country for the 2022 cycle, headlined by five-stars Kelvin Banks and Devon Campbell.
The Longhorns are continuing to receive good news at the position, this time via the 2023 class. Four-star interior offensive lineman Harris Sewell announced the top five schools left in his recruitment on Wednesday.
Texas made the cut alongside Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Alabama and Clemson.
Super blessed to be in this position. From this point forward I will be focusing on these schools.
All glory to the man above!

Hewell is rated the No. 5 interior offensive lineman in the country for the 2023 class and the No. 21 overall prospect within the state of Texas, according to 247Sports.
In 2021, he was a Texas 2-6A unanimous first-team all-district as a junior for Periman High School (Odessa, TX).
