Four-star DL Andrew Maddox includes Auburn in top 12

As the recruiting race continues to land four-star defensive lineman Andrew Maddox, he narrows down his list to 12 schools, including Auburn.

Powerful linemen have been a presence in every recruiting class up to this point, and this year is no different. Many notable programs are out to land these potential future stars and are in tight races. For four-star and Oak Grove High School (Miss.) product [autotag]Andrew Maddox[/autotag], this has been the case, but the big man has narrowed down his list to 12 schools.

This list includes Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Florida State, LSU, Alabama, Miami (FL), Arkansas, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

Maddox was most recently in Auburn in the middle of January for his third visit after visiting during the Mississippi State and Alabama games during the 2023 season. His takeaways on the program have been super positive and now the Tigers are making a giant push to land the standout.

He is currently ranked the No. 116 overall player and No. 8 defensive lineman according to the On3 industry ranking. He is also ranked the No. 5 player in the state of Mississippi.

Auburn can increase its No. 10 ranking in the 2025 class should it land Maddox. The Hattiesburg native would join the likes of [autotag]Jourdin Crawford[/autotag], [autotag]Malik Autry[/autotag] and [autotag]Kalen Edwards[/autotag] as a member of a strong defensive line class.
