After landing a four-star linebacker recruit in DeMario Tolan recently, the LSU Tigers are now in the running for another four-star defender in Hero Kanu. The top 10 defensive tackle named his top nine schools on Twitter. The LSU Tigers are joined on the list by fellow SEC schools Alabama and Georgia.
The Tigers currently have only one other defensive lineman committed to the class in Tygee Hill. LSU and head coach Ed Orgeron will be looking to continue to add to their defense in hopes of chasing yet another National Championship trophy and bringing it back to Baton Rouge.
The 6’5″ 293 pounder would be a load to handle in the middle of the Tigers defense that is looking to avoid another season like 2020. Kanu has yet to announce when he will cut down his list or a timetable for his commitment announcement.
