Four-star defensive back Jaydn Hudson puts USC front and center

USC has a legitimate chance in this recruitment.

2025 Pittsburg (California) safety Jadyn Hudson has announced his top schools. The USC Trojans have made the list.

USC appears on the list along with Tennessee, UCLA and Ohio State.

Hudson has already visited with USC four times so far, more than any other school. Hudson made it clear that he loved how the Trojans used Calen Bullock the last few years.

“I like the environment of the school. I like coach Riley,” Hudson said about USC.

Hudson is the No. 190 overall prospect, No. 16 safety, and the No. 19 prospect in the state of California in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking.

You have seen Doug Belk make some real recruiting gains in recent weeks. Eric Henderson — “Coach Henny” — has led the way, but Belk has joined him in boosting USC’s efforts on the trail. The Trojans are beefing up multiple position groups. The defensive line is the focus of the most urgency, but the secondary has truly grown as well. USC has a chance to further augment its back line of defense in this recruitment. By all appearances, the Trojans have a legitimate chance.
