It will be a big weekend for Caden Brown, one of the top recruits in the nation in the class of 2024. A four-star recruit in the 247Sports Composite, Brown is a standout at Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, N.Y.). He is the second-highest ranked recruit in New York according to 247.
Brown will be at Rutgers on Saturday night for the Big Ten opener against Iowa.
Erasmus Hall, one of the top teams in New York, is 0-2 to start the season after playing a strong schedule. They lost to St. Joseph’s Prep (Philadelphia, PA) in the season opener, a 14-7 loss. This past weekend, they lost to Rock Creek Christian Academy (Upper Marlboro, MD) 32-30.
Brown holds Power Five offers from Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, Syracuse and West Virginia as well as Rutgers.

The Scarlet Knights have recruited Erasmus Hall heavily, including standout players such as wide receivers Aron Cruickshank and Sean Ryan as well as defensive back Kessawn Abraham. Defensive end Jahzion Harris, who joined Rutgers as a transfer this summer, is also from Erasmus Hall.
