The Vikings defense is expected to improve in 2021. Granted, last season’s defense has set the bar low for them.
Yannick Ngakoue was the team’s sack leader, tallying five in just six games before getting traded. Minnesota struggled to stop the run as well. The defense had depth issues at linebacker and defensive back throughout the season, too.
So there is a lot of places the team could improve. Minnesota did its due diligence this offseason, going out and landing some big names in free agency to fix its defensive problems.
