Four takeaways from LSU’s 45-41 loss to Missouri

The LSU defense struggled to contain Missouri’s offense, as they allowed nearly 600 yards to the Tigers in the 45-41 loss on Saturday.

More turnovers

The Tigers defense did force three fumbles for Missouri on Saturday. If there is one high point for Bo Pelini’s defense, the turnovers would be it.

Despite allowing nearly 600 yards of offense, the defense did all they could to try and stop Missouri late in the game, but it wasn’t enough.

Pelini needs to make adjustments to the schemes moving forward or the LSU defense could have a long year ahead of them.
