Four Razorbacks named preseason All-SEC by the media

A quartet of Razorbacks were named preseason all-SEC by the media on Friday, with Rocket Sanders taking home first-team all-SEC recognition.

KJ Jefferson, Raheim Sanders, Brady Latham and Dwight McGlothern were named All-SEC by the media on Friday the day after Media Days concluded in Nashville.

Sanders was named the first-team all-SEC running back, the first time an Arkansas back has garnered that honor since Knile Davis in 2012.

Jefferson was the second-team quarterback, as LSU’s Jayden Daniels took home first-team honors. It was the first time since Tyler Wilson in 2012 that a Razorback quarterback took home preseason recognition.

Latham was given second team offensive line honors along with Alabama’s Tyler Booker, Missouri’s Javon Foster, Georgia’s Xavier Truss and Alabama center Seth McGaughlin.

At defensive back, McGlothern joined Alabama’s Malachi Moore, Texas A&M’s Demani Richardson and Missouri’s Kris Abrams-Draine as second-team selections.
