Former Wisconsin basketball class of 2022 target Rowan Brumbaugh decommitted from Northwestern earlier today, according to a report from Stadium’s Jeff Goodman.
Brumbaugh committed to the Wildcats back in August. He chose Northwestern at the time instead of a lengthy list of offers including Wisconsin, Maryland, Penn State, Oregon and Georgetown.
The Northfield, Massachusetts native is 247Sports’ No. 85 player in the class of 2022, No. 11 point guard and No. 2 recruit from the state of Massachusetts.
Wisconsin currently has one commit in its class of 2022–three-star shooting guard Connor Essegian. We’ll now see if the Badgers return to pursue the recently-decommitted highly-touted four-star point guard.
