Former Wisconsin basketball player Kobe King enters NBA G League draft pool

The former Badger is starting his professional career

After two seasons at Wisconsin, former La Crosse Central High School star Kobe King left the program in the middle of the 2019-20 season. While initially committing to join Nebraska after his decision to leave the Badgers, King instead stayed out of the college basketball realm.

His career, however, is just beginning in the professional ranks. The former three-star recruit is headed to the NBA G League Draft and has hired an agent.

King will attempt to make an NBA G League roster for the upcoming G League bubble season at Walt Disney World in Orlando. The draft is scheduled for January 11.
